This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the ways in which PT Zoetis Animalhealth Indonesia (“we”, “us”, or “our”), with registered office at Talavera Suite 19th Floor Unit 05-06, Jl. TB Simatupang No.Kav. 22-26, Cilandak Tim., Kec. Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12430, collect and use personal data from you in the course of our services, including via our iOS and Android app, Zoetispetz (the “App”).
1. Background
1.1. We, PT Zoetis Animalhealth Indonesia, are the data controller. We can be contacted for privacy inquiries at +622130052400 or +62 811-8114-832 or via email at info@zoetispetz.id.
1.2. We will always comply (and be able to demonstrate our compliance) with relevant data protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act as applicable in Indonesia, when processing your personal data.
2. Your use of the App
2.1. Information Collected by Our App: Depending on whether you are a pet shop partner, a pet owner, or a veterinary clinic partner using Zoetispetz App, we collect varying types of information including but not limited to:
- Contact name, email address, phone number, and details about pets such as their type, gender, birth date, breed, and weight.
- If you are a pet owner: (i) your name, phone number, and e-mail address as provided to us directly by you if you choose to sign up to the App (whether by inputting such details directly). Additionally, to enhance security and ensure the authenticity of our users, we use a One-Time Password (OTP) sent via WhatsApp for login authentication. This OTP is required to verify your identity each time you log in, providing an extra layer of security for your account; or (ii) your name and telephone number as provided to us indirectly via your pet shop or veterinary clinic in order for your veterinary clinic or us, on the instructions of your veterinary clinic, to invite you to sign-up to the App. Upon sign-up, in addition to the details provided to us directly or indirectly as above, we will then collect further details from you including your e-mail address or phone number (as applicable), and details about your pet (such as their type, gender, breed, date of birth, weight). If you sign-up indirectly under c(ii) some of these details may already be pre-populated by your veterinary clinic but we would advise you to carefully check and edit these as needed.
2.2. Processing Ground: We rely on contractual necessity to process the personal data as this information is essential for us to license the App to you.
3.3. Use of Information in the App: The information about you may be used by us as follows:
- To enable us to undertake administration tasks related to the management of the App.
- To analyze and enhance the performance of our App, we use tools like Google Analytics to monitor user behavior, interactions, and navigation patterns within the app.
- Clinic/Pet Shop Booking Services: Allow users to book appointments at their convenience, view available date, and choose preferred services.
- Reminders: Send automated reminders for upcoming appointments, vaccinations, or grooming, which can help in maintaining the pet’s health and ensuring timely visits to the vet or pet shop.
- Upload Receipts Feature: Our app enables users to upload and store receipts within a digital diary for their pets, accessible at any time through the app. This feature is designed to help users maintain organized records of their pet care expenditures. The digital diary is secure and private, with access restricted to the user and any pet shops or clinics they choose to share it with. Sharing receipts with participating pet shops or clinics allows users to gain points or benefits from loyalty programs
4. Sharing information with third parties
We shall not pass your information to any third party, other than as described in this Policy. Your information may, subject to our obligations to comply with applicable data protection legislation, be shared with various external service providers that we engage to provide services for us.
- We engage various external service providers to enhance our services, including AWS for cloud services, Infobip for communication solutions, Cloudinary for media management, loyalty program providers for rewards and customer engagement, and Auth0 for secure user authentication.
5. Security Measures
We have implemented rigorous security measures including encryption and secure server configurations to safeguard your privacy from unauthorized access and improper use.
6. Storage and Data Retention
Your information is stored by us, in Indonesia via our third party storage provider (AWS) and may be stored outside of Indonesia with data processors compliant with our data protection standards. Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to provide our services to you, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies.
7. Your Rights

8. Transparency and Data Handling Practices
For the Zoetispetz app, maintaining a robust and transparent Privacy Policy is crucial to building trust and ensuring user engagement. Given the sensitive nature of the information handled by the app, which includes pet name,weight,birth date and breed and owner name, it is essential that our Privacy Policy comprehensively addresses how we collect, use, and share user data, with explicit mechanisms for obtaining user consent. This includes detailing the secure encryption methods we employ, the specific third parties with whom data is shared, and our practices for regular policy updates to reflect changes in app functionality or data practices, ensuring alignment with global data protection regulations.
